Pace

Terms of use

The deal,
in plain words

What you may do with Pace, what the subscriptions cost, and how to stop paying for them.

Last updated 22 September 2026. Effective from the same date.

1. Who you are agreeing with

Pace is provided by RipeSeed, 881 C, Faisal Town, Lahore, Pakistan (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Pace you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Pace on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with the rules of the store you installed it from.

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; remove any notice of ownership; or use it to break the law.

3. Free and Pro

Pace is free to use with one routine, and that free tier includes the whole app: unlimited runs, every statistic, the per-step breakdown, corrected targets, the streak and the notifications.

Pace Pro adds unlimited routines and the progress chart. It is offered in three forms, all unlocking exactly the same thing:

Plan Type Price Free trial
Pace Pro monthly Auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly USD 3.99 per month 3 days
Pace Pro yearly Auto-renewing subscription, billed annually USD 29.99 per year 3 days
Pace Pro lifetime One-time purchase, non-consumable USD 49.99 once

Prices shown are in US dollars. Each storefront has its own price in its own currency, and the price you are charged is the one shown to you in the App Store or Google Play at the moment of purchase, inclusive of any tax those stores collect.

4. How the subscriptions work

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you took one.

A subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period until you cancel it. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before that — cancelling later takes effect at the end of the period that has already begun.

You cancel through the store, not through us: on iOS in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and on Android in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel a subscription for you, because we do not hold your billing relationship.

If you take a free trial and then buy, any unused part of the trial is forfeited, which is the stores' rule rather than ours.

The lifetime purchase is a single payment with no renewal and no expiry. It can be restored on a new device with Restore purchases on the Pro screen.

5. Refunds

Purchases are made from Apple or Google, so refunds are theirs to give. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play. We have no ability to issue a refund for a store purchase, and asking us will only cost you time — although if something in the app went wrong, please do tell us as well, because we would like to fix it.

Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you have under your local consumer law.

6. Price changes

We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and for an auto-renewing subscription the stores require that you be notified and, where their rules demand it, that you consent before a higher price is charged. If you do not accept a new price, cancel before the next renewal.

7. Your content

Your routines, times and history are yours. They are stored on your device, not by us — see the privacy policy — so we claim no licence over them and could not use them if we wanted to. Keeping a backup is your responsibility; if you delete the app without a device backup, that data is not recoverable by us.

8. What Pace is not

Pace is a timer that measures how long your own routines take. It is not a medical device and it is not a diagnostic or therapeutic tool. It does not diagnose, treat or manage ADHD, executive dysfunction or any other condition, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. If you need clinical help, speak to a professional.

9. Availability and warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that timings will be exact under every operating-system condition — a device may throttle background work, and an alert may be delayed by your own notification settings.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of Pace. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

11. Ending it

You may stop using Pace at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms — for example by trying to circumvent the paid tier. Sections 7 through 12 survive the end of the licence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page changes when we do, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. A change that materially affects your rights will also appear in the app's release notes.
