What Pace knows
about you
Nothing. This page explains exactly why that is true, and where the one exception lies.

The short version.
Pace has no account and no server of its own. Your routines, the times you record and your history are written to storage on your own device and stay there. We do not collect them, we cannot read them, and there is no analytics, tracking or advertising anywhere in the app. If you buy Pace Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google and managed by RevenueCat, who learn that a purchase happened and nothing about what is in your routines. Deleting the app deletes your data.

What Pace stores on your device
Everything the app needs lives in your device's own app storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere by Pace.

You may name a routine or a step anything you like. If you type something personal into a step name, that text is stored on your device the same as everything else — we never receive it.
What we collect about you
Nothing. Pace has no sign-up, no login, no user profile and no server that we operate. We do not build a profile of you, we do not have an identifier for you, and there is no circumstance in which your routines or your recorded times reach us.
We also do not use any analytics, crash-reporting, attribution or advertising service. There is no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Facebook SDK, no advertising identifier and no tracking pixel in the app, so there is nothing for us to opt you out of.
Purchases — the one exception
If you buy Pace Pro, three parties are involved, and none of them see your routine content.
Apple or Google
The payment itself is taken by the App Store or Google Play under their own terms and their own privacy policies. We never see, handle or store your card details, billing address or any payment credential. Their handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
RevenueCat
Pace uses RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is valid and still active — which is what lets you restore a purchase on a new phone. To do that, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, app-specific identifier that is not linked to your name or email, the store receipt for the transaction, and basic technical information such as the platform, app version and country of the storefront.
RevenueCat acts as our processor for this, and is based in the United States, so this information is processed there. It never receives the names of your routines, the times you record, your history or your streak. If you never buy anything, Pace makes no network request of any kind.
Notifications
Pace can send you two quiet motivational notifications a week, and one reminder if a routine you were part-way through is still unfinished. These are local notifications: they are scheduled by the app on your own device and delivered by your operating system. There is no push server, we send nothing, and we do not learn whether you opened one. You can turn them off in the app's settings, or in your system settings, at any time.

That is the only one. Pace does not ask for, and on Android explicitly blocks, the microphone, external storage, the ability to draw over other apps, and background foreground-service permissions. It has no camera, location, contacts, calendar, health or Bluetooth access.
How long anything is kept
Your routines and history stay on your device until you delete them or delete the app. There is no expiry and no cloud copy — if you delete the app without a device backup, the data is gone, including from us, because we never had it.
Purchase records held by RevenueCat, Apple and Google are kept under their own retention policies, because they are also the record of a financial transaction.
Deleting your data
You can delete a single routine and its history inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. Neither requires contacting us, because there is no account to close.
If you want the purchase record associated with your anonymous RevenueCat identifier erased, email support@ripeseed.io from the address you used to buy, and we will pass the request to RevenueCat. Note that this may prevent you restoring that purchase later, and that Apple and Google keep their own transaction records regardless, as they are required to.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, and to object to its processing. Under the UK and EU GDPR you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
In practice these rights are easy to satisfy here, because we hold almost nothing: the data that would be the subject of an access request is already in your hands, on your device. For anything relating to a purchase, write to support@ripeseed.io and we will respond within 30 days.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so. Under California law there is accordingly nothing to opt out of.
Children
Pace is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to hold about a child. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@ripeseed.io.
Security
Your data is protected by your device: the app's storage is sandboxed by iOS and Android and is covered by your device passcode and encryption. Because we operate no server and store nothing, there is no database of ours that could be breached. Traffic to RevenueCat and to the stores is encrypted in transit.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and the previous version is superseded. A change that materially affects how your data is handled will also be announced in the app's release notes, so it does not happen quietly.
