Something
not working?

Write to support@ripeseed.io and a person will read it. We aim to reply within two working days.

Reporting a bug? Four things make it fixable on the first reply:

your device and OS version, the app version from the bottom of Settings, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. A screenshot of the screen it went wrong on is worth more than a paragraph describing it.

Using Pace

How does Pace decide to suggest a new target?

It takes the median of your last three runs of that step and compares it against the target you set. If the median sits more than ten per cent away — over or under — Pace offers a corrected target rounded to something usable. Steps that are already close enough are left alone, which is why you normally see one suggestion rather than a screen full of them.

Why has it not suggested anything yet?

It needs at least three completed runs of a routine before it will propose anything, because two data points are not a pattern. If you have run it several times and still see nothing, that means your targets are already within ten per cent of what you actually do — which is the outcome the app is aiming for.

I accepted a correction by mistake. Can I undo it?

Open the routine in the editor and set the step's target back to whatever you want. An accepted suggestion only changes the target; it never alters your recorded history, so nothing about your past runs is lost.

What happens if I go over time?

Nothing stops. The screen shifts colour and the timer counts upward so you can see at a glance that you are past the target, and the run continues until you mark the step done. Going over is information, not a failure state.

Does it have to be a morning routine?

No. A routine is just a named list of timed steps — people use it for evening wind-downs, leaving the house, gym circuits, cooking, practice sessions and getting children out of the door. Anything with an order and a duration works.

The timer drifted while the app was in the background.

Pace works out elapsed time from timestamps rather than by counting ticks, so returning to the app shows the true elapsed time even if the system suspended it. Sounds and notifications, however, are at the mercy of your operating system's background rules and Focus or Do Not Disturb settings. If a sound did not play, check those first — and the silent switch on an iPhone.

Notifications are not arriving.

Check that notifications are on in the app's own settings, and then that Pace is allowed to notify you in your system settings. Pace only sends two quiet motivational notifications a week plus one reminder for an unfinished routine, so a quiet week is also possible by design.

Pro, purchases and billing

What do I get for free?

One routine, and the whole app around it: unlimited runs, every statistic, the full per-step breakdown, every corrected target, the streak and the notifications. No account and no card. Pro adds unlimited routines and the progress chart that plots every run over time.

How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?

Open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought with. This is the only way to move a lifetime purchase, and it is also how a subscription is recognised on a second device.

Note that restoring a purchase does not bring your routines across — see the next answer.

I got a new phone. Where are my routines?

Your routines live on the device, not in an account, so they move only if your device-level backup moves them — an iCloud or Google backup that includes app data will restore them along with everything else. If you set the new phone up fresh, the routines are not recoverable, because we never had a copy. This is the direct trade-off of having no account and collecting nothing.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Through the store, not through us. On iPhone: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android: the Google Play app, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or the next period is charged. You keep Pro until the period you have paid for ends.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought from — use reportaproblem.apple.com or the Google Play order history. We have no ability to refund a store purchase. If you are asking because something broke, please write to us as well, because that is a bug we want.

Which plan should I pick?

All three unlock exactly the same thing, so it is only a question of how you prefer to pay. Monthly and yearly both start with the same three-day free trial; the yearly one works out cheaper across a year; the lifetime purchase never renews.

Privacy and data

Can you see my routines?

No. There is no account, no server of ours and no analytics in the app. What you type and what you record stays in the app's own storage on your device. The privacy policy sets out the single exception, which is that buying Pro involves Apple or Google and RevenueCat — none of whom receive your routine content either.

Does Pace work offline?

Yes, entirely. The only thing that ever needs a connection is making or restoring a purchase. Once you are Pro, the app keeps working with no connection at all.

How do I delete my data?

Delete a routine in the app to remove it and its history, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. There is no account to close. For a purchase record held by RevenueCat, email us and we will pass the request on.

Languages and accessibility

What languages does Pace speak?

Twenty-five: Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French (France and Canada), German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Ukrainian. Pace follows your device's language automatically.

Arabic and Hebrew are not yet supported, because doing them properly means a right-to-left pass over every screen and we would rather ship that right than early.

Does it work with VoiceOver, TalkBack and larger text?

Yes. Every control is labelled for screen readers, the running timer is announced, and the layouts hold at larger system text sizes. If reduce motion is on, the transitions drop away and the numbers keep updating. If you find somewhere this falls short, please tell us — it is the kind of report we treat as a bug rather than a request.
